At that time (1956) he was a student of Diego Rivera, who motivated his interest in muralism, in a course he taught in this Institution on mural technique. In his long career that spans the second half of the 20th century and what goes on in the 21st century, Antonio González Orozco has contributed to Mexican plastic art with easel paintings, drawings, engravings, serigraphs, sculptures, many of which he has exhibited in 31 individual exhibitions, both in Mexico and in various countries such as the United States, Canada, Poland and Romania. Particularly noteworthy are 8 wall paintings, located in Mexico, Coahuila, Sinaloa and Chihuahua.
