Carmen Alarcón (b. Guadalajara, Mexico) is a visual artist and graphic arts researcher in Guadalajara, where she lives and works. Carmen has been twice honored at “El Salón de Octubre” and winner of the Contemporary Design Award Hugo Salinas Price. Her work is in major private collections. She is currently section editor of the magazine Graphic Culture Grafilia in her hometown. She was recognized, in November 2010, for the seven years of its continuous monthly publication in Grafilia.
