BIOGRAPHY

Itzeel Reyes is a plastic artist, graduated from the Bachelor of Philosophy at UNAM, thesis student from the Master in Philosophy and graduated from SOGEM.

Itzeel Reyes is a plastic artist, graduated from the Bachelor of Philosophy at UNAM, thesis student from the Master in Philosophy and graduated from SOGEM. She has held solo and group exhibitions in different galleries and museums nationally and internationally; She has also developed as an illustrator, art director for theater and commercials, and costume design. She won two medals (bronze at the 1986 Tokyo Biennale and silver at the biennial organized by the Japan Television Network in 1987). She has served as a professor at various universities such as UNAM, ULA, Mesoamerican University, ITAT and since 1996 has taught at the University of the Cloister of Sor Juana. She was co-editor and designer of the magazine “La Mandragora” from 1995 to 2000. She has also worked as a screenwriter for various media and in 2003 she received the IMCINE scholarship for best feature film script.
