Biography

He studied at the San Carlos Academy and later at the INBA National Center for the Conservation of Artistic Works, where he participated in the restoration of paintings and murals.

(Mexico City, 1947 -) He studied at the San Carlos Academy and later at the INBA National Center for the Conservation of Artistic Works, where he participated in the restoration of paintings and murals. His wide plastic domain and artistic knowledge has characterized him as a painter who ventures not only in technique but also in subjects, where colors, textures, shapes and volumes acquire life and their own personality. Throughout more than 30 years of career, he has obtained international recognitions and awards and his works are part of important collections of galleries and museums, such as the Graphics Hall of the Sofia Museum, in Bulgaria, the Querétaro Art Museum and the Museum of Modern Art of Toluca. "They are my own dreams, that is how I wanted to express myself and capture this new movement in my work [...] It evokes me when man begins to dream and to materialize those dreams, building the world that we know and that encompasses all human endeavors."
