He was born in 1948, in Veracruz, Veracruz. He participated in free painting and drawing workshops at the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving "La Esmeralda". He was a member of the Popular Graphics workshop, where he was Master of lithography. He is the Director of the Purple Snail Graphic Production Workshop.
Since its inception it has worked with important teachers in the performance of their work: Alfredo Zalce, José Chávez Morado, Raúl Anguiano, Adigio Benítez (Cuba), Nicolás Moreno, Desiderio Hernández Xochiteozin, Carlos García Estrada, Leonel Maciel, Guillermo Ceniceros, Gerardo Cantú , Juan Manuel de la Rosa, José Luís Cuevas, Martha Chapa, Gilberto Aceves Navarro, Carmen Parra among many others.
He has been a lithography teacher in the Popular Graphics Workshop and in the Artistic Teaching section of the INBA, teacher of the Active Preparatory School and teacher of Children's Artistic activities of CONACUR.
He has participated in more than seventy group and fifteen individual exhibitions, both at home and abroad. And he has received several awards. His work is in the collections of the León Trotsky House Museum; Benita Galeana House Museum; Museum of the State of Mexico Print; Institute of Graphic Arts of Oaxaca; Pascual Cultural Foundation; Autonomous University of Aguascalientes National Museum of Death; Museum of Engraving Arts Foundation, La Coruña, Spain; René Avilés Fabila Foundation.
