Mariano Rivera Velázquez

Biography

Mexican sculptor, painter and writer. He studied architecture at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. A scholarship from the French government, he studied graphic arts at the Atelier Friedländer in Paris (1968). He participated in the First Independent Salon (1968); He has held solo and group exhibitions in various cities in Mexico, Europe and India. He served as professor of modern and contemporary art history at the Instituto de Cultura Superior de México. He has been editorial advisor and collaborator of the magazine Arquitecto.
