Víctor Orozco, alias Cha´ca (Juchitán de Zaragoza, Oaxaca, 1948)
The Juchiteco artist began to exhibit and sell from the 1970s, in a collective at the National Auditorium and in galleries in the Zona Rosa, in Mexico City. "Cha´ca remains almost anonymous, fleeing from the advertisers, away from the shop windows, as if he wanted to reserve himself for his private collections; that they stay, that they remain there; but he paints tirelessly and sculpts with an impetus that leads him to remove countless stories of his dreams and, despite what it seems, he wants to tell them.
Maestro Víctor Cha'ca has participated in more than 35 group exhibitions in addition to 30 individual exhibitions in important spaces in the country and abroad. It is part of important collections of museums, galleries and private and public collectors.
